Dario Morello began his competitive career in 2007 at the age of 14, winning his first Italian Championship the following year. Called up to the National Team, he confirmed himself as Italian Champion in the Cadets (2009) and Youth (2010) categories, also competing in the Youth World Championships in Baku. In 2012, he debuted in the Elite category, winning the Golden Glove and the Italian National Championships. Between 2013 and 2015, he achieved international success, including a Gold Medal at the Milan University Championships.
He turned professional in 2015, winning the Italian Welterweight Championship in 2017. He went on to claim the WBO Global title (2019), the UBO International belt (2022), and the UBO European title (2022). In 2023, he secured the prestigious WBC Mediterranean title, successfully defending it in April 2024 against Luca Chiancone. Later that year, he retained the belt by defeating Felice Moncelli in a sold-out event at Allianz Cloud in Milan.
